Custom Metal Marking, Etching & Engraving Laser Systems

(Page 2)

Aluminum Tags
Application: Engraving anodized motor housing tags.

Features: A robotic pick-and-place arm removes the tags one at a time from the custom magazine and places them on a conveyor belt. The vision system determines the orientation of the part and feeds data to the marking system so that when the part enters the marking field the laser knows how to position the alphanumeric text correctly on the tag.

Golf Club Heads
Application: Marking alpha-numeric and 2D matrix serial numbers

Features: This system uses a two position rotary table to allow a club to be marked while another is being loaded. The rotary table includes light curtains and dual palm buttons for operator safety. The light curtains will stop all motion of the rotary table if anything intrudes into an unsafe area. The rotary table and immediate marking area are enclosed in a CDRH Class 1 compliant enclosure with a safety interlocked flap to allow for table rotation.

Application: Engraving badges and shields for law enforcement.

Features: This 100-watt Nd:YAG system features a 21" x 21" computer controlled X-Y table mounted to an optically stable frame with vibration isolating feet. The frame is designed to allow manual adjustment of the laser relative to the X-Y axis and a manual Z-axis under the laser provides fine adjustment for beam focus.
